We feel extremely grateful to be named the number 1 restaurant this year by @houstonchron . We are very aware that this does not make us better than any other restaurant on this list or any other restaurant in our city. We have always understood that our space and how we operate may not be for everyone, and we are ok with that. Every day we push the team to be better for themselves and each other to continue to push hospitality and our Culture forward. Some days when we are all focus we are good together, but we have off days just like in any other profession. Maybe tasting menus aren’t for you and maybe you still think that Mexican food should not be expensive, but if you allow urself to be open to the idea of what dinning has become since the pandemic and the kitchen culture we have created for our selves and other small businesses in Houston then maybe just maybe Tatemó is on ur favorite restaurant list, subjectively of course.
