About a year ago to exactly this date I worked as CoCreative Director for Nike SHAPA SOWETO Basketball Court. A project that is very close to my heart with an artist who is very close to my heart and life, Uncle Marc Sign. As creative partner, myself, FUTURA DESIGN JOBURG and Uncle Marc spent weeks working on barbershop/salon faces for this court. Uncle Marc who I have worked with for the last 8 years has designed some of my personal WL Salon faces is an amazing artist, leader, painter, father, husband and friend. What an honour to have had this moment with him. ♥️🫶🏾 Much love to the family at Nike, @futurajoburg for ideas that go beyond and create change not only in individual people’s lives but communities too.
