While centella asiatica, also known as cica or tiger grass is one of my favorite calming ingredients, not even my arsenal of soothing products can help the internal rage I have. Centella asiatica got its nickname because supposedly tigers would roll on the plant to help heal their wounds. I wonder how much tiger grass we’d need to heal this country. It’s also a great ingredient for redness, but unfortunately, I don’t think it’ll be able to help the red wave sweeping the country and threatening to take away even more of our rights. For me, I’d repurchase the Dr. Jart Re-Cover Cream and Purito Buffet Serum. However, if you can hold off on getting new skincare products, I’d also recommend donating to abortion funds in states that are likely to ban abortion if they have not done so already. It’s okay to feel upset and hurt and scared. But I hope you know that there are people who will not back down, who will continue to fight for our rights, and who will not stop until every person is guaranteed reproductive freedom.
