Obukucha is here! In Japan, Obukucha (which means “Good Fortune Tea”) has been enjoyed for over ten centuries as a tradition at New Year’s. This tea is served with family to bring good luck and good health in the coming year. Our Obukucha is a premium genmaicha, a style of green tea made by blending green tea leaves and roasted rice. We use a higher grade of tea in the blend than our year-round genmaicha, giving Obukucha a heartier, smoother character, fitting for this season of celebration.
