This week to mark the end of Pride month, we invited inclusion and wellbeing consultant @benjy_lookbook to host a virtual forum to educate us on how to better our understanding and practices of allyship in the workplace. One of the key takeaways from the conversation that really resonated with the group was the analogy Benjy shared around the microaggressions minority groups face; “It’s like if you suffered a bee sting. One would hurt, but you’d recover. Now imagine if you were stung 10 times a day continuously – it’d probably have a far greater impact on your life." 🐝 The conversations we’ve had over the last month have opened a wider conversation that we will continue as we look towards the future for talent and influencer marketing.
