A new, chic Brasserie is open in Georgetown and @lechefsebastien and I have our new, favorite, after work date night location. @chefgillesepie, an OG rockstar Chef, created a menu that is modern and fresh and so incredibly authentically French. It feels like dining in a Michelin star restaurant in France. We have been lucky to sample the menu several times pre and post opening - here are our favorites in order of appearance: 1) Jade Gimlet Cocktail 2) the bread! It’s made by @grattierstephane of @boulangeriechristophe , ask for seconds! 3) the Foie Gras beignet - one of Chef Gilles’ signature dishes 4) Marinated Salmon 5) Bouillabaisse soup 6) The Saint-Pierre - the citrus zeste sauce is amazing ! 7) the sweetbreads - best I ever tasted! 8) Mousse au chocolat 9) not pictured - the Poulet Rôti & frites is amazing !
