KNOXVILLE, TN LEXINGTON, KY ST. LOUIS, MO What an incredible 3 days we have already had together, with 9 more yet to come. On a personal note I will never forget these nights. I’ve been touring for just shy of 10 years and these nights were the first time I got to sing my own songs on a tour 😭 Insert all the feels. How was it? Unexpected and yet sweet; classic God. I had a completely different plan going into these nights yet God (in His knowing better) changed it on me last minute - TWICE 😵🥴🙌🏻 yet I shouldn’t be surprised. We pray for God to have His way - His pleasing, perfect will & way - always praying for Him to help Himself to my life however He wants, then when He does and completely changes ‘the plan’ (like-bottom-falling-completely-out-type-of-change) I freak out. O silly Taya, ye of little faith — God ALWAYS knows best. Am I stretched beyond my capacity? Yes Am I tired? Yes Has my dependency on Jesus grown? Yes Has my capacity to sense the grace of God grown? Yes Has my desire for the God thing and not much else grown? Yes. Have I been truly left wanting? When it comes down to what matters, not my comfort or silly stuff like that, no I have never been left wanting. He is enough. Jesus is ALWAYS enough. I’ve sung that “I am Yours and You are mine” probably over a 1,000 times and perhaps I’m just starting to realise how held I really am. See you in three days Everett, WA.
