Mother’s Day feels particularly poignant this year. Maybe it’s because soon women may not have the right to choose when they’re ready to enter motherhood. Maybe it’s because I myself am smiling at the notion of Motherhood, curious and wanting. But what I do know is that my Mum continues to set an example of grace and love and growth that is unparalleled. You are the mother I hope to be one day, when I’m ready. I love you Mum.
