Cameron S. recently made history as Delta's first Black Propel graduate, joining 50 new hire pilots in receiving his wings. "Propel gave Cameron the path to change his career trajectory, but his dedication and resilience are what made his dream a reality," shared Delta's VP of Training and Standards. "Cameron is paving the way, not only for Delta employees looking to transition their careers, but for the next generation of aviators hoping to one day take to the skies." Upon joining Delta in 2013 as an airport ramp agent, Cameron knew that one day he would become a Delta pilot. In 2014, he began to transition his career by operating as a flight attendant while obtaining his ratings. In 2020, he was selected to participate in the Propel Pilot Career Path, a Delta program designed to identify and mentor the next generation of pilots.
