Now days it’s really hard to be the first at anything. We aren’t the first to make tortillas and we are not the first Mexican tasting menu restaurant, so when our name got called up to be awarded one star by the @michelinguide it was hard to hold the tears of joy. We can officially say with pride that we are the first Mexican restaurant in Houston with a Michelin star. But we wouldn’t be here today without the constant push of our team and the incredible support of our guest local and out of town. We hope to keep making our culture and our city proud for years to come. But specially the immigrant community in Houston. Congratulations to all the amazing restaurants and chefs.
