Chicago Cubs legend Anthony Rizzo announced his retirement from the MLB this morning after a 14-year career. He will retire as a Cub. . Rizzo spent 10 years with the Cubs, including the 2016 World Series championship team. He ranks sixth all time in Chicago Cubs history with 242 home runs. . As the starting first baseman for the Chicago Cubs, Rizzo was a three-time MLB All-Star, four-time Gold Glover and even won a Silver Slugger award. . The Cubs will honor Rizzo this coming Saturday, Sept. 13 with a special ceremony. He will also now join the team as he is becoming an official ambassador of the Chicago Cubs organization. .
