My second most asked question of all time is how I achieve my vibrant reds without bleach!! Here’s how I do it! I determined my clients natural level. In this case majority of her hair is a level 2. (Yes her ends are lighter, I used a different formula for her ends😉) Once I have my clients natural level, I determine my clients desired level. In this case a level 5. She’s a level 2 👉🏼 going to a level 5. This means I have to lighten her hair 3 levels. This would mean I would need to reach for my 30 volume to get those 3 levels of lift! Please keep in mind this will not work if your client has sort of previous darker colour. Why? Because colour can’t lift colour!!! Would you like to know how I determine what level of colour to use next ?! Formulas: Root: @schwarzkopfcan IGORA Royal 60g 6-88 / 15g 6-99 / 25g 0-88 / 2g 0-99 with 20 vol (20 vol because we will get some heat from the scalp) (this only goes on 1 inch down from the scalp!)
