There’s so much to do in Gatlinburg for families beyond visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Our top suggestion for a kid-friendly attraction is @ripleysaquariums which will keep kids and adults of all ages entertained for hours on end! Seeing fish, sharks, rays, and even a sea turtle swim over our heads and all around us in the viewing tube was mesmerizing. The kids loved feeling like they were inside the fish tanks where they could crawl underneath and stick their heads up into the viewing area as fish swam around them. They also enjoyed witnessing a live penguin feeding! Second, we learned so much at @ripleysbelieveitornot and couldn’t believe some of the strange things Ripley collected and witnessed on his world travels. Parts of the museum are interactive and reminded us of a kids’ science museum, which was a huge hit. When learning is made fun that’s a win win. Adrenaline junkies cannot miss Ripley’s Super Fun Park in nearby Pigeon Forge. Racing go karts kept us smiling and laughing, as some people in our family are extremely competitive. 😂 Even my 71 year old mom joined in on the fun! Finally, per my mom’s request on her birthday we visited Ripley’s Haunted Adventure. We weren’t allowed to take any video or photos inside (since that would spoil the spooky experience), but it was just the right amount of scariness that the kids enjoyed it but were not too scared. It’s another family-friendly activity that’s great for most ages (it’s not for kids under age 6). Have you visited any of these Gatlinburg attractions yet? If not, save this video for help planning your Gatlinburg vacation. Thank you Ripley’s for gifting us our tickets! #hosted #ripleysbelieveitornot #ripleysaquarium #ripleys #gatlinburg #gatlinburgtennessee #visittennessee #familyvacations #familytravels #gokarts #aquariumfans
