This week has been hectic, in the very best of ways. It’s always exciting to start forming a new band for a tour with an incredible group of people , and I think what we’re making is going to be gorgeous. But because of that, I’ve been wiped after hours of rehearsal so I haven’t had a lot of time to put towards #asongbysunday this week. Luckily, I’ve got plenty of “orphaned children” hanging around that need some love and attention. This weeks offering started with a collaboration with my dear friend @davemackaymusic , he’s one of the most talented pianists, synthesists and composer/producer/engineers that I know in addition to being a stellar human being. We’ve been cooking up a bunch of tunes and meals together since he moved to LA a couple years ago and we’ll be releasing them soon! But this is one that never got fully baked other than making a little vibe that felt good. So, this week I decided to put some words to what we cooked up together while ago.
