direction.... I had a whole shoot planned out for my birthday a few months ago. It was super windy, extremely hot, my foot wouldn’t go inside my shoe and I accidentally snatched one of the buttons on my dress off (it was one of those days). We could’ve said forget it and cancelled everything, but Walt did what he had to do and made this shoot happen. No frustration, just smiling through the fact that everything else aside this was a good day and this was going to be a good year... Learning Lesson of The Week: People tell you how to get through rainy days, but never explain what to do when the wind blows everything in a different direction. Sometimes we get so caught up in things not going the way we planned that we forget just to smile and find joy in things pivoting. Years ago, you’d see me get flustered if my plans didn’t go exactly how I planned, but then you know life happened. One thing I learned is that you can’t change what’s meant to happen, so just prepared to deal with whatever is thrown your way. Enjoy every moment of life, pivots and all.
