I was recently re-editing a project from 2013 I titled ‘Girls in Dress’. I made portraits of teenaged girls, from NY and LA and photographed them wearing their mother’s clothes. What I was trying to imply was a sense of becoming among a certain group of people. Looking through my lens at what it means to be female, what it means to be a part of a family and what it is to be young. This is a portrait of Claire Nordstrom. #tinatyrell #girlsindress
