“Mexico is very important to me because my father spent most of his life there," Anna says of drawing design inspiration from Monarch butterflies and her Mexican heritage. “Brian and I always love visiting, so the country was a natural place to look for inspiration." The couple brought the outdoors in for their DIY nuptials with the help of potted plants and hundred of handcrafted butterflies. During their "I dos," Anna and Brian stood before a five-foot-tall ceremony backdrop that depicted an image of an Aztec galactic butterfly. The insect made yet another appearance during the reception, where vibrant garlands of paper Monarch butterflies were suspended from the ceiling.🦋 📸: @wearethebrauns
