As new mom... while you were pregnant, did you ever wonder what happens after the hospital? A brand new human is sitting in your arms and in 2 days the hospital sends you on your way with a crash course on minimal sleep that makes your head spin. It’s like you need an intermediate transition before you go home that helps you get your bearings. I was so fortunate to have an amazing doula @glowmaven who gifted me 3 days at @boramcare Set in the @langhamnyc, boraum felt like a transition haven. Hotel-like setting providing moms/parents with a beautiful suite. Options to stay from 3-5 nights. Experts in place to help you with lactation, feeding, education, group sessions with other moms discussing how to manage postpartum. I was also provided 3 full nutritious meals a day with foods that replenish a postpartum body. They even have a night suite for the babies where the feed and monitor your child all night to allow you to get some sleep (or you can text them through the night and check the cam if you’re curious). All in all - it was a beautiful supportive experience that made us feel even better equipped to take our little Legend home. I never knew this existed — I just had to share my experience as it really made me feel great going into my next phase of motherhood.
