Holding on tight to my sister ever since the 80’s and never letting go! This year marks our 13th year in business, and I feel luckier than ever; not only do I have the most brilliant business partner ever (she is the brainchild behind some of our most iconic products, from the Luggy Basket to the Dinkum Dolls) but we have the greatest work wife / general manager who has been by our side for the past five years who has taken our global team from strength to strength. Like every business the past few years has seen it’s challenges from supply chain to a shift on how we shop, but through it all I am so proud of how our team and company have stayed true to our ethos of designing and making toys and homewares ethically, providing employment to marginalised women globally, while having a lot of fun and creating a work space that supports our team (all women!) to raise families / have work life balance whilst doing what they love. During our toughest times we achieved @bcorpanz certification, just highlighting that no matter what, we will never sacrifice what we stand for in the face of challenges. We have possibly one of my favourite product ranges launching this year which I can’t wait for you all to see.
