Kashkaval Garden (📍852 9th Ave, New York, NY) has been at its current location since 2013. During my visit, I tried their neighborhood acclaimed mezze, skewers, kale salad, and cheese fondue. Their beet skordalia and asparagus hummus were refreshingly mezze options that deliciously paired with some warm pita. For their skewers - I truly enjoyed their lamb kofta, octopus and shrimp, and salmon kebab wrapped in grape leaves. Additionally, Kashkaval’s kale salad featured dried figs and vibrant lemon-shallot vinaigrette. The grand finale featured their cast iron cheese fondue for two. I opted to pair out fondue with their charcuterie add-on and sliced baguette pieces.
