💚🧡 VINTAGE UPCYCLE 🧡💚 Upcycling is and has always has been very important in my design philosophy. I’m in love with vintage textiles - they just don’t make them like they used to! I’ve held on to this Day Glo maxi dress for years, hoping to put someone in it. I got sick of it hanging up in my styling kit so finally decided to cut it up and turn it into something I can wear! 🐯 It’s a small (around a modern womens size 2) and I’m not! Lol, but there was plenty of yardage in the skirt. I deconstructed it and played Tetris with the pattern pieces to make an easy breezy crop top/wrap skirt combo.
