We are now accepting Long Beach applicants to participate in the Ending the HIV Epidemic Initiative Community Mobilization Program, called The HIV.E (HIV Education & Empowerment). The LAC+USC Medical Center Foundation in collaboration With Arming Minorities Against Addiction and Disease (AMAAD) Institute are looking for community members who are interested in advocating for communities most impacted by HIV. Selected applicants will work with others in the long beach community to select and lead a community project of their choice related to HIV prevention and/or treatment and will participate in engaging, mobilizing, and building community power and stakeholder involvement to advance their selected project(s). There is a $100 stipend for each Cohort meeting.
