Accents: The Documentary - is on its way. Process is becoming so much more monumental in my work. Not just the destination or finished product but the journey itself has been beautiful. I feel like I’ve finally created something that I want to follow and keep up with for as long as time permits. Trying to move further away from the side effects of digital media and instant gratification, as that has been so engrained in us. There was a time when a good album, collection, movie, or body of work would carry an artist through decades but now we put so much effort and time and money and love into things that are here today, gone tomorrow. I’m committed to sticking beside my work, committed to the longevity of it. Accents has so many more peoples stories to tell and so much more cultural nuance to explore.
