Like all the best social experiments, this one to connect strangers in NYC didn't go as expected (spoiler: it was much, much better 😊) Be honest, do you ever feel lonely? Well, ironically maybe, you're not alone in that - around a quarter of the world's population struggles with loneliness EVERY DAY. In New York, the busiest, most famous city on the planet, the issue is particularly acute - with two thirds of locals feeling socially isolated. We've come up with a solution: The Friendship Corner: a space for conversation, geared toward combating New York’s loneliness epidemic. The first-of-its-kind installation is an intimate space for two strangers to have a conversation, encouraged along by icebreaker cards, which range from simple conversation starters to questions that dive deep beyond the facade.
