GURL, she’s dreaming of tha day when she actually has space for those larger green gurls that she has her eyes on!!! 🌿🪴👀💃🏽🛍️ She’s been greening up her life for the last six years, and there is still a special feeling I get when welcoming a new green gurl into my plant fam, but these days she’s a bit more intentional in her botanical retail therapy process. With over 200 green lil kweens, I know the limits of my lil Brooklyn space and want to make sure that all my green gurls are provided with the space to grow, flourish, and serve lush lewks for the gawds, dahling So on occasions I create lil green guidelines for myself ... these be the ones she’s following for the next few months: #1 If there is a moment in time I want to memorialize, a memory I want to preserve ... I’ll welcome a green lil kween into the fam (whether its a cutting or a potted kween) to symbolize that present moment in time. She gets spatially creative, moves some kweens around and makes room for the new lush arrival, dahling. Many of the plants I have in my home have wonderful stories that I often revisit and reminisce when I care for them #2 If I come across a plant that I’ve never seen before, the price be right, and I know that I can provide her with the proper care to have her thriving ... then it’s a swap sish. I gotta gift one of my current green gurls to a frand to make space for the new incoming green lil kween #3 If she’s just having a #treatyoself moment, splurges some coinz on some greenery (cuz she works hard for the money and has every right to), and know very well that she ain’t got the space for any of those new kweens, then my gurlfrands better watch out cuz they bout to be blessed with a lil botanical surprise!
