A study in seasons 🍂🌿 Experiencing the same place in two seasons feels more like experiencing two different places. Alex and I visited the Cascade Pass area in 2018 in the height of fall. This year we visited in the height of summer. Each season has its pros and its cons. In the summer we saw the Milky Way and enjoyed a day that felt endless, but we had to hike during a heat wave. In the fall, we were surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colors, but we woke up the next morning to a blanket of snow covering the tent. Both were beautiful in their own way. It looks like a winter trip is in order so I can add some snowy photos to this collection!
