Utopiates Extension Pack (link in bio) allows you to dose with the bot guardian, ignis and fatuus, fork your set and setting whilst ultimately relying on the augmented immersive experience of outside//inside over your own handheld dosing device. The piece follows the themes explored by the collective, Omsk Social Club in their work “Utopiates: The Freedom Cell” which was led by a group of eight practitioners. The group’s initial experiments centred around the thematics of understanding acid as a primal technology and the tab as a console for another world. The work used the material substance of concentrated LSD to open up a collective performance of artificially induced virtual reality. The users explored the collective mind made neurocosmic through social intelligence, technological extensions and radical holographic imagineering. Leading on from this Omsk Social Club produced “Utopiates Extension Pack” a gateway work that allows any user to step through into a graphic third dimension.
