one year without our star in the sky. there will be never be the right words to explain how absolutely sensational you were or how lucky i was to have you in my life. while this has been the hardest year of my life, i want to thank you daniel duane mickelson for showing me how beautiful life is and for showing me just how important every second of every day is and to live life to the fullest degree. i am the luckiest person in the universe that i get to look after your family for you. my big brother. you saw the world through a magical lense and i try to do that every day in honor of you. the fact i got to experience you overtakes any pain in my heart and fills it with all the love in the world. you have altered the way i view life and take on every day in the most beautiful way. meredith mom and dad are the best most brightest lights i have in my life and we miss you every second of every day. i still don’t understand how i got so blessed to be put in you and mers lives but truly, you both will forever be the best things that ever happened to me. you are my guide on earth, one of my dearest friends and family and my safe place. i feel you in every breeze that hits me and every laugh i hear. i love you and any reason to celebrate you. i’m counting down the minutes till i get to see that smile again.
