Chinatown's decades-old Mei Lai Wah bakery (@meilaiwahcoffeeshop) has opened a new late-night food counter with grilled skewers, stewed fish balls, steamed buns, and other foods commonly found at Hong Kong 7-Elevens.
Munchiez is located on MacDougal Street in New York City, a rowdy stretch of Manhattan that's become a grazing place for inebriated New York University students ā to the point that some businesses hire bouncers to manage the late-night crowds.
The restaurant doesn't consist of much more than a counter for ordering and a small grill for making skewers, but the menu is surprisingly large.
