🌳 Geert Mul⁠⁠ Art Antwerp 2022 ⁠ ⁠•⁠ With his light box Natureally (2017), Geert Mul presents an illusion of a nature through artificial light and processed images. Natureally shows a monumental old oak tree (a “Kroezeboom”) in an intensely colored heather landscape. It is a fictional landscape that Geert Mul created from a collage of various landscapes in different seasons. ⁠ •⁠ The photo collage is made in an extremely high resolution so that despite its dimensions, it is still razor-sharp at close range.
