Had been looking forward to going to @monoglasgow all week but unfortunately didn’t have a good experience tonight 😪 Booked a table at 6pm and didn’t get our food until 7:20pm. Seeing the staff eat chips behind the bar whilst we were waiting for our food was a bit annoying because we were starving. The restaurant wasn’t even half full but apparently they’d lost our food order which was why it took so long. Frustrating but they did take our food off the bill which was good. When the food came, mum said her haggis was nice, but my macaroni cheese (which I usually love) was dry and bland. I hate to give a bad review but in my experience, the service at Mono has never been great and needs to be better. The staff aren’t very attentive. Tonight we were served by three different people and even after our food eventually arrived, no one came to check in to ask if everything was okay. Then after we paid the bill someone else came over to ask if we wanted desserts 🥴.
