And our campaigns are making an impact around the world! Following campaigning from Oceana & allies, Fisheries Management Councils were restored in Brazil, increasing transparency in the country. And less than one year ago, @noaafisheries approved a final rule for new at-sea monitoring requirements that strengthen accountability and abundance of the groundfish fishery in the Northeast United States. This change will ensure that catch is counted and accounted for so that science-based catch limits can be properly set and enforced. .
