We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of legendary songwriter/producer Lamont Dozier. Lamont penned an extraordinary string of Motown smashes for the likes of the Four Tops and the Supremes – for whom he scored an incredible ten No. 1 pop hits. Lamont also recorded several solo albums over the years, and collaborated with Phil Collins on the No. 1, Grammy and Golden Globe-winning “Two Hearts.” His music will continue to live on through countless songs and generations of songwriters and musicians influenced by the Motown sound.
