Thank you @smashboxcosmetics for having me be part of this residency program ‘Open Studios’ at @smashboxstudios I got to create these portraits of my niece, stepdad, and mom with the help of the amazing Smashbox & @imprintprojects team. When I was approached with this project I immediately knew what I wanted to achieve. I was inspired by the over-the-top , gaudy, oversized portraits that people of wealth have in their homes. I wanted to do this, but my way. My family would be the subjects and I combined my artistic expression to encapsulate their portraiture. Their most hyper forms of themselves captured on camera.
