I’m really excited for the new year, but slowing down has only reminded me of something I’ve always known about myself. I’ve always found so much happiness in the simple moments, and I think that’s why I tend to stay in a good mood, it doesn’t take much. Sunlight pouring in, a warm cup of coffee, laughing with my kids, a calm space, those little things have always filled my cup. Don’t get me wrong, I have my days where I’m busy from morning to night, running from thing to thing and not able to give the kids my full attention but those days make the slower days at home even sweeter, because you appreciate them so much more. With the kids growing up so fast, I’m even more intentional about romanticizing the small moments, because these ordinary days are truly the most special ones. I hope everyone has a happy successful year focusing on what’s important and building your relationship with Allah 🤍
