The exhibition Ɛցɾҽցօɾҽʂ & GRIMOIRES by Jon Rafman @jonrafman continues. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 15. September 2022 – 31. December 2022 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In Ɛցɾҽցօɾҽ, until now largely shared online over social media, we watch various animated found photographs, “cursed” images and other pieces of Internet detritus coalesce and transform, all carefully curated, altered and brought to life by the artist. With Ɛցɾҽցօɾҽ, Rafman creates a coherence and through line to the chaotic proliferation of images of the internet, revealing in the process, the collective unconscious of the web and its users as well as a larger exploration of the human desire or impulse to search for meaning.
