#ParisPhoto booth spotlight: @alessandra_sanguinetti’s farm animals in Buenos Aires, Argentina 🐴 🐦️⁠ ⁠ @martinparrstudio's curation of Magnum Gallery's 2022 @parisphotofair booth (F12) includes two works by Alessandra Sanguinetti. The photograph shown here is from ‘On the Sixth Day’, a book which explores the experiences of farm animals as well as the dualism of our interactions with them. ⁠ ⁠ “It was about paying attention to everyday animals, and the relationships they have with each other. I was imagining myself in their place, looking at them as if I was one of them,” says the photographer of these pictures, whose vantage point avoids the sentimentality we tend to adopt around animals when they are not on our plate.⁠ ⁠ PHOTO: Untitled #17 (Mare and Foal).
