Well, I’m convinced this is the best way to see Switzerland : with a bike and a rail pass! I haven’t had this much fun on a trip for years... If the weather is bad or you feel like seeing a different valley you just load the bike on the train and chill. Sometimes I’m guilty of imposing a philosophy of travel upon a place instead of simply adapting to it. Per example, in the American west, this trip would have been impossible since there aren’t many trains, nor many towns to grab epic lunches. So you adapt and go self supported bike packing. In Switzerland however, no need to rough it — Keep the bike light: no food or tent and simply find the best spots to eat and sleep... Thanks for hosting us @myswitzerland @swisstravelsystem
