I believe in romanticizing your life. Magic exists where you choose to find it. The first time I met my husband, we were basically babies in diapers. Family friends, catching each other’s eyes a few times a year. The first time we really fell in love, we were in the back of a Honda Civic, head-banging to The White Stripes. And the rest? History. A fashion photographer meets a computer developer. Starts a blog. Plays in a band. Prioritizes travel. Moves to NYC chasing a dream ... to give everyone that same little spark of creativity we fell in love over. That feeling I’ll chase for the rest of my life. Italy was the dream distilled. Laughter ricocheting across a sea of blue glitter. Big, happy families floating for hours. Food straight out of a movie, vibrant, fresh, alive. Every wall holding a lifetime of memories. The sky close enough you could reach out and touch it. Ships passing, wrapped in a halo of orange light like they belonged to the sun. It’s these moments that make my heart beat louder.
