Treating ourselves to a little R&R this weekend, Rhythm & Ribs that is! 🍖🔥🎶🥁 Through this Sunday, the 26th annual Rhythm & Ribs music & food festival is happening! Some of the nations best pit masters are showcasing their award winning bbq including Desperado’s BBQ & Rib Company, Off The Bone BBQ, Carolina Rib King, Porky n’ Beans and Johnson’s BBQ. Today’s lineup includes Departure (Journey Tribute Band), Electric Avenue (formed in 2019 to help Bruce Springsteen’s production of the 80’s feel good film “Blinded by the Light”) and Yacht Rock Schooner (the smoothest hits of the late 70’s and early 80’s). Sunday’s entertainment features Fortune Child (Jacksonville’s own “old soul” band), St. Augustine’s popular Paper Clip Hustlers and One Good Ring, carrying on the music and vibe of The Grateful Dead. FESTIVAL HOURS: Saturday: 12:00 till 10:00 Sunday: 12:00 till 5:00 📍Location: Francis Field, 25 W. Castillo Drive 🅿️ Onsite parking is available for $15 in the adjacent Historic Downtown Parking Facility.
