It also served as the perfect catalyst for helping me document and remember some of the more beautiful scenes I’ve witnessed. Not just in a visual sense, but in a raw, emotional way too. There’s something about the images that come from the rolls of film (specifically from Kodak Professional Portra 400, of course) I shoot that help me remember what I was visually loving about different moments, whatever music I was listening to, how much my quads were burning (thank you SF hills), and even how I was feeling about life that day."
