It was important to us that mentorship played a major role in the flagship program of the foundation we’ve been building at Kith. Yesterday’s Operation Backpack event was the perfect opportunity for our mentees to get hands-on experience giving back to their communities. We worked with Sharon Content (@sharoncontentnyc) and her incredible team to distribute backpacks full of school supplies to the young scholars at Children of Promise(@childrenofpromisenyc), a non-profit that provides children with incarcerated parents the social, emotional, and financial resources to thrive. Saquon Barkley(@saquon) was on hand to help our team pass out meals and give these kids and their families one less thing to worry about going into the school year.
