[SAVE FOR LATER] If it’s one thing ima do—it’s rock an UPDO! . For this episode, I wanted to do something for “all the ladies in the place with STYLE & GRACE”...think “MODERN DAY BRIDGERTON BADDIE”😂 . Updos are my absolute favorite way to wear my hair cause they frame my face the best 👌🏽(I actually did a style almost identical to this, a couple years ago, but that was before I started filming my hairstyles lol 🤗) . Oomf asked me how I come up with all my styles and I’m honestly just inspired by the limitations I placed on my younger self. I’ve been natural my whole life and my mom tried to have me wearing Bantu knots to school, when every black girl in my class had relaxed hair. I was not with the shits then, but I am now. . You gotta have confidence to step outside the framework that’s been created for you, and step into your INDIVIDUALITY. Hopefully this series has given you a lil nudge lol .
