Visit link in bio to RSVP! #Repost @lagoodfood with @use.repost ・・・ Right before the pandemic shutdown the City Council approved the Good Food Zones on March 2020. ▪️ The policy since then has appointed a Food Business Liaison to the Economic and Workforce Development Department with the City of LA to further the implementation of the Good Food Zone Policy. ▪️ What is the Good Food Zone Policy? The policy establishes a programmatic framework to direct City of LA’s economic development resources and investments toward food entrepreneurship. GFZ is a place based strategy that recognizes the legacy of disinvestment in targeted neighborhoods. GFZ would create strategies to include food-centered economic development community initiatives. ▪️ We invite community residents from the pilot areas of South LA, Arleta, Pacoima, Sylmar to this event.
