On Sunday, a dream came true for me. I met @alokvmenon in the flesh at our retail partner, Flying solo store and I got to walk them through the creative process(my favoriite part) for Maalicious! They cared and were curious about the women behind each piece. Alok is a force to be reckoned with, a vibrant, energetic soul filled with creativity, kindness and an impeccable sense of style. I truly believe they are a gift to our generation, and it was a pleasure to meet them and to discuss various topics from LGBTQ to the impact of colonialism on that community in India. ❤️
