We spent just over a year embedding in the immigrant caravan, Mexican drug cartels and alongside two journalists following the homicide beat in Acapulco. Throughout production, I was humbled and inspired by the stories of survival, suffering and sacrifice. This world is a complicated place but human resilience is the bedrock to progress. This project opened doors to a distant reality I never knew, bearing witness to the most visceral, raw version of humanity, true sacrifice and courage. -Peter
