Natural curls require an entirely different approach. The product regiment requires a lot of moisture and some hold to keep the definition of curls - this often means layering multiple products, not just one. Hair color has to be different too - we have to approach it much gentler than on other hair types, particularly lightening services. In the case of this beautiful model - @jerrettebaker gently lightened the model’s hair using a freehand balayage technique and then toned it with an acidic toner to help close the cuticle and retain her natural texture.
