WHY I DONT LIKE TO LABEL MY DIET, and why I think you shouldn’t either ❤️🔥
about 4 years ago I had an unusual moment with a pig in a backstreet of a rural filipino village - in that moment I promised that pig 🐷I would never eat pork again, and I haven’t.. until last night
last night I was having dinner with my boyfriend - the absolute tastiest Italian pizza you can get delivered to your house and it was topped with prosciutto. I just thought “that looks fking good, imma eat that” and as easy as that, without any guilt (sorry filipino pig) I ate it and it was dam tasty 😋
I’ve never felt restricted by my choice to not eat pork, but I’ve also never felt that I couldn’t break this pig promise to enjoy life and experiences
i don’t label my diet as plant based, vegetarian, flexitarian, pescatarian any -tarian as a matter of fact
when we give our diet a name we automatically give it rules and I hate rules. Names push us into a corner of restriction and force us into a certain style of eating - it’s time to break the rules ❤️🔥
you can feel free to eat however you like, completely label/name/title free - the best diet for you, your body and your life probably doesn’t have a name!
