I learned recently that too many people do not realise how difficult it is to be a realist, feel your life and future falling apart and still be able to find a small amount of joy in the world’s beauty. Cynicism is a lot easier to fall into but to stay hopeful is hard in a world that constantly knocks you down. #poets #poem
