“iF I SiT iN rIcE, WilL iT fiX mE?” 🍚 -- Y’all know that I like to do fun/amusing concepts when I can. Been waiting to put this out for awhile. @xcindytran_ and I came up with this concept (based on the subtle asian traits meme, *hint hint* soon) at the end of 2020. For those unfamiliar with the idea, people would put electronics that got submerged in water into uncooked rice to fix them because rice absorbs water. So before cell phones became water resistant, many cell phones that were accidentally dropped into pools/bathtubs were put into rice. Interestingly enough, I just googled the rice method and apparently it’s not recommended at all LOL. No wonder Cindy isn’t fixed yet 😅😂 Notes: not that much rice was actually used in the shot, thanks in part to planning, angles, and editing
